Big Moonshine Bust
Alcohol was sold to kids

PINEVILLE, Ky. -- Authorities in southeastern Kentucky say they've made a major moonshine bust.
Police on Tuesday found more than 100 gallons of whiskey and 500 gallons of mash, from which the alcohol is made. Authorities believe the alcohol was being sold to youth in Bell County and across state lines in Tennessee and Virginia.
Bell County Sheriff Bruce Bennett says it's the largest still bust he's made in more than 30 years. 40-year-old Noal Ward is charged with trafficking an alcoholic beverage in a dry territory and unlawful manufacturing. | |
