| I just installed the hunterworks greaseless roller weights and sliders in my 09 rhino 700. I used the 18g weights and am running 26x9 BH's on all four mounted on diablo's. The clutch mod helps by bringing your rpm's down under acceleration but when I get past 42 mph my rig sputters and feels like it is hitting the rev limiter on and off untill it tops out at 51 mph. Do I need to install an MSD to take care of this???? | |

| I am not sure about this one. I have never had the grease-less sliders. However, It sounds like something is wrong. | |

Yup, stock everything other than the wheels! The rig runs smooth untill we pass the normal rev limiter point. After 42mph it is in and out of the limiter untill we hit 50mph.

I thought the slides were suppose to work like a sheave except no roller flop? It does not sound like that is correct. My sheave does not hit the rev until 50 ish.

| I can hit 50 with my sheave and no "in-n-out" effect. Sounds to me like maybe you should call Todd. That does not sound right to me. | |

| If it feels like you are hitting the rev-limiter I would be willing to bet you are... If it were me I would purchase the CDI and see what it does.... | |

| Ok.....I found out after speaking with Todd and a bit more runtime that the rig only does this under full throttle acceleration. So if I mash the machine until I reach 41mph (stock rev limiter range) then lift to a steady pedal I can cruise to 51mph smooth as butter. We both feel that it has something to do with the cdi picking up on the rev limiter. Go figure that I would buy a smart rhino! So I am leaning towards an MSD cdi replacement. Man...I am throwing $ at this thing. I just had to pick up a set of koplin hd flares Due to my new rims and tires. | |
