Happened about 40 miles west of me...

Six -- yes 6 -- people in a Kubota RTV, riding somewhere where they weren't allowed, in the dark, plunged off a 500 to 700 foot cliff. All survived, but some are still hospitalized:

Had one of my school mates walk off a 70 foot cliff. Alcohol was involved and he didnt make it. Sounds like someone else was in control of that fall.

Damn if that wouldn't sober ya up right quick!

Sounds like one of them grabbed a tree limb on the way down, stopped himself, and was then able to climb out, in the dark, and go get help...

What's the old saying "God looks out for drunks and fools..."

In this case, I think both terms might apply...

Well it seems alcohol was definitely involved, and it appears to have been a JD Gator instead of a Kubota, as first reported. This video shows the cliff they went over and a quick glimpse of the totalled Gator...

I guess they all came out of it and rolled down the hill? What a long, strange trip that would have been.

One of those older 5-wheeled JD's it looks like. Maybe a case where a cage could have been a bad thing.......

GOD is always in controll, It just wasnt there time, Thats all you can say he was riding with them that night.
