| I got the plug way back and was told it was pre-gapped and not to touch it. I knew I was gonna pull the plug and eyeball it as part of my routine to get ready for Brimstone, so I checked to see what gap it came with just to see if it needed changing. Found out that it comes at .036 and the 660 manual says the gap should be ~.031 - .035. Hmmm... the .036 seems alittle big now. I re-gapped it to .032, put it back in and fired it up. It runs even smoother now than what the Iridium plug did for it to begin with!!! Anyone else with this plug may wanna do a little 'tap tap' on it to get an even smoother running one-lunger. | |

| Was it a new plug or was you checking it? The gap changes (gets bigger) as it wears. | |

| Not a new plug, but NGK's own specs say it comes fresh from the factory @ .036. So, it was (imo) out of spec. from the get go. BTW, the plug's only got around 250 miles on it. | |

| Spark plug....gaps......all Greek to me Nice work DD. I should probably check mine as well. I had a cracked factory plug that gave me some trouble last year at White Knuckle. Popped in a new one but never checked the gap on it. | |
