Trying to organize a ride in north Georgia

Braselton, Road-Atlanta.

I would say the easiest way for you would be to make your way up to Gainesville and then come out on Hwy 53 into Dawson County, cross over hwy 400 and continue on 53 and that turns into Main Street in Dawsonville city limits and Food Lion is on your right. Nascar hall of fame is next to it, you can't miss it.

We go that way sometimes to get over to 75. Know the route very well.

Unless something strange happens I'll be there. It's 122 miles for me according to garmin. looking forward to it.

Ridepate: I am glad you are familiar because I don't know your side of town too well so I am glad you knew what I was talking about.

gstaats: I am familiar with Barnesville and yeah 122 miles sounds about right, it is a pretty good hike. I hope you can make it.

Ridepate, I just sent in my check to Ronnie to become an offical member. Would there by chance be any apparel that you could bring for me to possibly purchase?

I'm glad you all can make it! We are going to meet at the Food Lion in Dawsonville off of Hwy 53. The address is 59 Main Street Dawsonville, GA 30534. We were planning on meeting at 9am. Does that work?

matt are we going to be able to ride most of the day where we are going and you do have permission to ride there and bring folks with you is my understanding right? just making sure i am loking foward to it very much it is getting me out of a wedding shower with my better half. hmm lets think about this wedding shower or 4 wheeing seems like a no brainer to me.

Yeah I have talked to the field secretary for the beagle club and he said he is fine with people riding as long as we are careful and watch out for their dogs. Plus being that I work for law enforcement locally we should be ok, but yeah I have permission, people ride there all of the time.

Works for me. I know where the Food Lion is also.

ok that sounds good i was just wanting to check and make sure that we would be ok that is one thing i never do is ride somewhere i am not welcome.

I understand completely, I am the same way. I always bring the guys information that I spoke with incase anyone asks, but for the most part people just wave and admire the machines. Like I said before though if we come across any trucks or atvs with kennels that means someone is running their dogs and we just have to tread lightly through those spots.

Question......What time is everyone hoping to ride until. My other half is trying to determine a time to make dinner reservations....any ideas? I am fine riding most of the day she just wants a time...
