Easy-open hood mod.

I've posted this elsewhere. Thought I'd do it here too. I used a Dremel, snips work too. Hood opens with one finger!!!

dunno is it you got a 08 not i?

I havent looked at an 08, but I'm almost 100% sure it tis the same as all years. So yes it should work.

Mine is an 08 and it works the same.

caught it on rhino forums and did it that day - best damn cut job I have ever done! thanks for sharing!!

something else you can do along with this mod.or try before you cut is take out the bolt that is catching (with the scorn nut on the inside of the hood) and turn the bolt around so the acorn nut is on the outside! i did this after i cut and it helped even more! :idea:

i thought about that but thought it would stand out and look funky
