Watch this Suspension work. I think i'm starting to think differently about riding the sand. This looks like a blast!

That does look like fun -- everything but the high-speed whoops...
My old back and kidneys don't appreciate that kind of stuff.
Most impressive to me was how the suspension was soaking up the bumps in "trail riding" yet was still soft enough to handle those jumps....
That certainly requires GOOD shocks!

Takes a pretty good pair to run wide open through some of that stuff. I respect the riding out there. but where we ride will put a pucker in their pants just like the wide open stuff puts a pucker in ours. its all good just ride!!!

You could come ride the sand where we live and do that. Once is the only chance you would have to do it ,,,,, well I guess once you got out of jail you could do it again!!!

Got into some bumps down in Fla. (Ocala Nat.For.) on my quad. Not fun when your rig isn't set up for it.

i would love to run a mid travel kit, but Windrock is kinda tight in spots and not sure about brimestone and royal blue. Whatcha think, a teryx with plus 3 on each side, possible on terrain around here?

I'm from Central Kentucky and watching some of the videos of the guys on the dunes had definately peaked my interest. The closest place I have found that looks like it has good dunes is Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan. Anyone ever rode there or know of a better place that is closer?

I have heard Silver Lake Sand Dunes is not worth the trip, if your have to travel very far.
