Why I dont like ITP tires

This is a pic of my right rear inside sidewall. I am not a happy camper right now.

Looks like a bad place in the tire. What kind of tire is it?

Yeah, but if the tires don't have many miles then I would call ITP. I would still call ITP if I where you/

Ya....ITP would be on the phone with me right now.

Have been emailing them. They wanted pics. There is a post on another site were a guy has XTR's and they have splits between the cords. I told ITP after seeing this I think they should give a full refund. I dont want them on my ride and sure dont want anything going wrong while one of my kids are with me.

They have about 300 to 400 miles on them and no it has nothing to do with them being 14 inch.

Nope, just ridding dirt trails

bobby D had an XTR do this. his was a 27X11x12 with a lot of miles. his tire had 2 or 3 of the bubbles on it. he rode it like that for several rides but he is running big horns now.

Hopefully ITP makes it right. I would be surprised if you get a full refund. I would think they would pro-rate. But I'm sure they'll push to send out a couple replacement tires. I cut a sidewall on my old ITP's and read a ton of negative reviews on them and switched.

Knock on wood. I have never had any trouble out of any tire on both my SXS's. Just so happens two of the sets have been Maxxis. The other set was Pirelli's and they were and are tough as nails. If the Big Horns will go through what we did at Hale without plugs and pinches I will certainly have another set. Good all around tire IMO.

If i spent most of my riding time in the rough stuff, i would have Bias ply tires.

Well I received an email from ITP. I guess they are going to replace the two rear tires that are bad. Will have to wait and see if the brown truck shows up this week sometime.

If you are on dirt trails.....why would you need XTRs anyways?

that is good maybe they will hold up better.

good deal on itp replacing them keep us updated on how well the new set holds up.

Well since a lot of times we ride in marsh and low lying areas. We just dont ride on dry trails. Do you ever ride in different conditions?

No, they have bighorns so they pretty much have to stay on dry dirt trails or blacktop.
