Not a done deal.........yet. My refundable deposit is just so, I can touch and feel, before anyone else can!!!! If I don't like what I see, I'll walk. Dealers in the south, Fl.,Al.,Ga. are only alotted 4 units first order. My guys only ordered two, an XT and an X, both 1k's.
He was scared to order 4 until they see what happens with them first. Smart thinking, IMO. The Can-Am p[roducts don't move all that well around here.

If I don't like it the short-bus will roll-on....

the only major issue i see is the exhaust so low....other than all the other can ham problems....it is sharp though

I'm far from convinced, don't worry. It will have to be WAY over the top.

On sat we all rode the can am me and tim rode the x model and duane and shon rode the camo model. when we all got off the machines we just laughed. they rode rough throttle sucks and it feel like it has about 40hp instead of 85 felt like driveing a brick machine feels really heavy that was all of our first day thoughts. sunday we deceide to ride them again i rode the xt model shon and duane rode x model and tim rode camo was happier the second day the x rides alot better than the others. the throttle has like a traction control built in it so we think thats why the throttle sucks so bad. the exhaust is very low to the ground the machine does have alot of storage motor and exhaust very quiet . Each machine had between 60 and 70 total miles on them and already hearing alot of squeaks and thumps out of the drive train. when shon and duane was rideing the x on suday comeing down hill it went into limp mode so i ask what that was and they said belt slipped. at 60 miles belt already slipping. The guy from can am said there are after market programs being wrote to take care of throttle problem but make you wonder why they restricted it so much belts axles drivetrain??????? was very disappointed in machine Theres no doubt a rzrs stock will kill it 0-30 mph and yes we did have the performance keys in we asked same question after our first lap thats how disapointed we were Im not takeing anything away from it It had a lot of nice features. I just dont think its for me

WOW......... That report is a big surprise to me.

That report surprises me mainly due to Todd at Hunterworks having a much more positive report. Todd did metion that the throttle on the 1000 was limited whereas Can-am let the 800 go wide open on take off. I guess with Drive by wire they can limit wheelspin by limiting throttle.

Given that the 800 Rotax has been placed in Rhino's for several years (see Rotax your Rhino) I would be shocked if a 1000 Commander was slower than a Rzr. I know my 800 Outlander will leave an 850XP in a straight line race...

I can't wait to see it. I bet it will fit you perfect. It seems to have a lot of the positives from the RZR, Ranger and Rhino that you liked. We will be waiting for a report.

You know I bought the Ranger thinking I could get Momma intrested in riding along.........the only reason I bought it.
She likes making dinner, breakfest, lunch for everyone more than riding, so the Commander seems to fit the bill at this point, more storage than a RZR, more H.P than a Rhino, RZR or Ranger. Best of everything??? We'll see.
