IMO, you're being unfair to the Honda in that comparison...
Maybe the RZR will look better with a bumper to hide that grille...

They couldn't compare to a Commander since can am only has a hand full and they are all prototypes or early production models. So there really is nothing to compare to.

I'm not crazy about it, But its not bad.. The front end doesn't look to good to me. I will say increased airflow was needed, so looks a side 29% more airflow is a worthy improvement. I know I have installed a front grill and I run Engine Ice coolant to help with temps. Glove box and extended bed were both needed also.. Did both of these mods with in the first couple weeks to my 09. They also added hi/low beam headlights and brought back the clock in the cluster they removed in the 2010 models. All minor improvements that are on most peoples want list. The budget model S will probably be popular also for people wanting a LT but better shocks. I really didn't care what they came out with. I wasn't selling mine anyway. I figured best case they would slap the 850 in a S. A 70 Hp rzr is nice, But you can do the same thing with a Holz big bore kit. By the time you sell your RZR then buy another just doing the BB kit would probably be cheaper and would get you to 70+ hp also..

I hope that this is not all that they are going to bring out, with the rear bar gone and the shocks maybe they are going to release a rzrss later on with the big engine and shocks. We can only hope, but for now the rzrs is still the king until somebody {Can-Am} knocks them off and by the reviews that some of the guys gave after riding the can-am I still beleive that rzrs will still be #1 sport machine.

Now the S Limited Editions have the tire and wheel plus the fox shocks for the same msrp as the 10 standard s. As for the rear bars, I can only think it may just be a cost cutting measure.

Guys losing the Bighorns and Fox shocks were a cost cutting measure plain and simple to make an "S" model at a cheaper price point. losing the rear part of the cage is also cost cutting reasons. all manufacturers do it.

Doing away with the rear bars might have been cost cutting, might not have been though.. I use my bed around the feild to run to the barn carry feed, ect. Even have a 15 gallon sprayer I toss in the back to spray the fence lines. One of the reasons I didnt' give the S a second look last year was the bars blocking what little bed space the RZR had. My wife wanted me to get a Rhino just for the larger bed. I know most people that are into these things enough to be on forums probably just use them for play.. I'm sure a lot of people use them for a little work to though.
