| What is the best combination for wheels to be offset for more stability....I had the wonderful privledge over tipping mine over at Windrock this past weekend followign someones exact line and he made it through perfectly. I dont' want the bumpsteer.....so the front doesnt have to be as wide as the back. Also....does wheel spacers affect the spindles reliability that bad? | |

| 5+2 front, 2+5 rear, forget the spacers, they stress the studs and will fail sooner or later. Do it right the first time!!!!! You will have no bump-steer with this set-up. They are even front to rear. You will have to get some flares to prevent getting covered tho......

| Nick, The track is the same-look at my avaitar. It's just that from, lets say, end of stud to end of stud on the front versus the rear is different. If you took a measurement on the front end, side to side, and the rear-end, side to side, the front is wider than the rear. So you would'nt want the same spacing on both, if you had lets say, 5+2's all the way around, the front would be wider than the rear and it would handle like a pig. If you had 2+5's all the wayaround, the rear would be wider.understand??? You want a total of 7-inches. |

| There is no need to buy 4, 5+2's and use spacers unless you want to be able to rotate the tires. Me I dont care about rotating. The likelyhood or possiblity of losing a spacer/studs is just not worth it to me when your in the middle of nowhere. Jimbo |

| Telli,
I've got 2.5inch spacers all the way around... the bump steer isn't that bad(I don't think). It's somewhat of a trade off... width or bump steer. I think if you put 2in on all four corners, you'll be fine. remember to use lock tite though...

I run 5-2's all the way around, with 2" spacers in the rear and a 1" spacers up front. Steers fine and never broke a spacer . Spend alot of time in the air also.. |
