Do you have any problem getting your gas cap off? Whenever I installed mine, the gas cap wouldn't come off because the door was to close to it. I had to put a wooden wedge between the door frame and the body.

| still trying to decide on doors between jl2 and pro armor. everyone still like the jl2?? is there any way to put a slam latch on the JL2? I would like a slam latch but dont think the $150 price difference is worth the slam latch. | |

| I've been told if you set the slam latch up correctly to start with there isn't any problems with them, I've never jacked with them though. And I've never actually used a set that was set up crrectly either.
I have utv inc doors with their slam latches. Very easy setup and I've never felt like there was a possiblility of them popping open.

| I have the pro-armor doors on my Teryx , they have the slam latch and are very easy to get in and out of. They proved themselves to be very rugged; I had the misfortune of landing hard on the passanger side door at Evarts. No structural damage, a little scuffed up is all. T he real point is that they did'nt open when my wife slammed into it when we hit. Lot's of good doors out there-good luck with your choice. Special thanks to Heath.Mason and Chris for getting me out of that tight spot- by the way my winch worked O.K. too.

Unfortunately, I had the occasion to thoroughly test the pro-armor doors on the Teryx in Evarts, thankfully they passed witout incident. We were following Jerry and went up a little hill, no problem, until I got to the last 5 feet or so of the hill and realized it was at the least vertical which shot the rex straight up then it fell over on the passenger door. The door stayed firmly shut and even worked as normal the rest of the day. I feel very confident in the ability of the slam latch to hold the door closed when it's supposed to be. Thanks again to Heith and Chris and Mason for gettin us out of that precarious spot, you guy's are life savers. And that, my friends, is how the Colonel just about got his chicken cooked(fried)!!

| I was going to make a set but I've already got way too much to do.
Tried to call Top Dog outfitters all day yesterday to ordered a set...no answer. So I ended up ordering a set of Pro-Armor black doors for $570 shipped from KG Motorcycle & Acc. I already have a set of Bear Claw door latches I plan on mounting on the new doors.

| I have a couple hundred miles on the JL2's, which are the same thing from what I understand as Top Dog. Solid latches, easy install, and they slide off if you want to run without them. I had factory UTV's on the last rzr. I like these better | |
