| I just finally bought a spare, but I don't have a way to mount it. Is there a cheap way to mount this guy and still leave my bed available? I was thinking the UTV mount (attaches on the top cross bar of cage), but I'm not fond of the extra weight high above the center of gravity since mine is a 50" with a Roktek lift...any ideas? | |

| e, There are a few out there that go in the reciever hole and rise to the tail-gate. Fast removal if ya need the tail-gate. If you're handy you could make one for cheap.. | |

That's a pretty cool setup thought PWM.

| This mount is from UTV Concepts. KentT told me about them. I'm sure sure they make on for your buggy but it might be worth your while to check it out?? I kind of like mine. | |

| I like that mount Woodtick. I checked UTV Concept's website, but not much info. Do you have to take off the mount to open your hood? How easy is it to access your radiator with that mount? I ask because a buddy of mine has an 07 Rhino and would love this mount...but he tends to get mud in his radiator and we have to clean it out on occasion while on the trail. | |

| Hey BigR,
I have a prerunner rear bumper, but no lock-n-ride acc rack. I guess I'll keep an eye on the forums for a used one.
My wife is about to shoot me if I spend any more $ on this thing...but hey, a spare tire mount is important...just like I rationalized ALL the rest of my mods :)
I want to get it mounted before the Jan ride...it's a hard sell after buying MakinTrax springs, Roktek lift and some assorted other goodies lately.
Thanks for the link though, I'll keep an eye out.

| Hey RZRS-Edge, I'd be interested in your locknride. Are you going on the Jan ride to Coal Creek?
Hey Gimpy, unfortunately I only have the standard 50" ride.

| Ewolfe, my mount is hinged at the bottom so all you have to do to raise the hood is undo a couple of wing nuts at the top and lift it forward. Now having said that, I learned to take the tire and wheel off before I do that. The clamps that hold it to the cross bar down front can be turned just enough by the weight of the tire and wheel so that it makes getting the wing nuts a real pain in the ass to get back in. | |

| Good thing about riding in a group is you have a lifeline back to camp if you get a cut you can't plug. I've thought about carrying my spare on the RZR.. But man they are big and heavy.. So far I have been able to just plug any cuts. Last ride I went on the guy with me broke the beed on his tire. We just winched it up on a tree and got the tire reset. Probably was as quick as changing a tire.. I know over the summer Airborne got a cut in one of his and put something like 7-8 plugs in it.. He got back to camp to swap it out though lol | |

| Yea, I carry a compressor and plugs, but I'm nervous @ a pinched sidewall with these new 14" wheels running now. I've only got @ 75 miles logged on the 14s, so i haven't learned to trust them just yet. | |
