| alright guys I know a broken steering joint is no big deal ive got several spare. But after spending 6 hours putting new bearings in all of my spindles this happens.... [img] [/img] It snapped the dad gum solid steel apart!!!! The real kicker is all the work that we put in installing the new bearings is pointless now because all new knuckles come with bearings pre installed.... Im just a lil frustrated!!! And all i did was got off camber in between a rock and a tree goin 5 mph and it snapped! Ive had it in 10x worse situations and it was fine! The mud gods were not in my favor tonight. Anybody else seen this before? Already got a new spindle on the way..... as my brother said it better it happen on my farm then on the backside of coal creek in Jan | |

| It looks like just the tierod end broke and you can replace that.. Just make sure the spindle isn't bent and you don't have to change it if its not. And if it is you only need to replace the one.

| I bent one at Pickett in an off camber situation last year but never seen on broke. I also bent one on my grizz a few years back so I replaced both my front spindles with Cognito's..
That looks like the driver side, the same one I bent on the rhino and the grizz.

Are you looking at the same picture I am..... LOL, now I am. I didn't see the broken arm on the spindle. I was just looking at the tie rod end. I had to replace my spindle on the very first ride after replacing bearings too! Sucks

| Hey guys im looking at parts diagrams of the steering and is there no way to just replace the steering rod itself if mine is broken off too short? I know on most fourwheelers you can just screw a new rod in but it everything ive seen for the rhino im looking at buying a whole new rack and pinion assembly? | |
