My review of the new 2011 1000XTZ

I'd say this was a good test to put her thru on her first official ride. Rode all day in nothing but mud. Several atv's and three rzr's other then myself. The power steering rocks, tires impressed me, power(there when ever you need it).
Going from a 650H1 to this is like night and day. It was really nice just to sit back and let the machine do all the work.

Also, you don't know how many times during the ride everybody said(me too) how impressed they were with how the XTZ performed. They thought it was going to be a slow going tank.....

Good deal. The XTZ looks like it is just as good as my RZR at throwing mud....

Glad to hear you are liking your ride.

I came from the 650 as well and you are right it's night and day difference in the 2 machines.

I don't have the power steering but haven't found a need for it yet.

I'm ready to get off the flat lands and hit some good ole TN trails

you will have a blast and test everything the machine can stand and a few spots it cant stand at Windrock, Royal Blue, Coal Creek its about all great riding around there. Its a little tough on sidewalls so take a spare with you if possible at least have lots of plugs and a good pump. hope to see ya there in the spring.

Yea, I know about flats and windrock. Found out on a ride that gorilla glue works wonders with tire plugs........

Oh, just a little inside joke there wvyankee2. You see the plastic bottle in the pocket of the cooler. I drank Nestea w/lemon the whole ride, and for sum reason it now is known as Nastea......sorry no ......
