Crawfish boil/ride "1st Annual Hanging Moss Ho-Down"

Some freinds and I are having a Crawfish Boil/Ride on Saturday, May 10th. $5 all you can eat mudbugs, with a ride to follow. A limited number of T-shirts will be available, also. It's BYOB :D The ride will mostly consist of gravel/dirt roads through an old oilfield, with mud, trails and a creek thrown in for good measure. We do like to stop and BS a bit. Mainly since this is not a real hardcore ride, just a good time. There will be more atvs than sxs, but oh well. It is about 15 miles out in the county from Quitman, Ms, at my friend's camp/hunting lease. I'm taking my camper and staying the night. The only downside to this particular weekend, is that Sunday the 11th is Mother's Day. I just figured I would throw this out there to all who are interested. And besides, this is the first post in the Ms Rides section. :) If any of you are interested, PM me and I will give you more details.

Hey Thanks for the invite. A little far for me that weekend though (726 miles) Me, you, Big-r are at the outskirts of the group.

I knew it would be a little far for most everyone, but I just wanted to invite ya'll. Plus, I figured it was time to post a ride in the Ms section.

Me, Erskin and Broknbonz were talking about having a crawfish boil... i'll have to let them know about this one... Wife and i might make it over there.

Wish I had seen this sooner, Erskin & I are racing in Ga that weekend. Gotta love some crawfish though.

It should be a good time. Like I said, this won't be a "hardcore" ride, just a good time, casual ride. It's mostly gonna be quads, but ...... PM me, and I'll give you directions to my house from Meridian. We plan on going out there kinda early (prolly around Noon'ish) and setting up the camper, and my buddy wants me to help cook the 'Bugs. Let me know.........Oh yea, you WILL want to meet me @ my house. There aint NO way you can find the camp on your own. Hell, people that's been there before still have trouble remembering how to get there.

UPDATE: We just got permission from a friend to ride on his hunting lease, about 500 more acres.

sweet... do you mind if i bring some family? my brother has a ranger and my uncle has a ranger as well(uncle lives in Meridian)

Come on. I'll let my buddy, who's actually putting this ride on, know. Are ya'll coming for sure, or I can just tell him ya'll might be coming.

my wife and I are about 80% sure... it depends if my mother goes to Meridian as well. if she does... then we may not ride. I have a cousin over there that wants to go if we go. so, you can count on atleast 3 of us(80% sure, that is).

i'll know by friday... hopefully, that's not too late.

Friday will be good. I have to change the oil in a girl's wheeler for her, and I will prolly go ahead and take the camper out to the camp, and set it up (one less thing to do Saturday), so it will be either kinda early, or later in the evening, or both, when I get on here to check posts & PMs.
