You know what Clay, that is exactly how to do it. We just have to make it a priority. I would like to do it but a new baby and money make it close to the bottom of the priority list. Who knows maybe 2012...... | |

| Then lets start planning now for Moab 2012, find a trailer that would haul about 5 or 6 machines have 2guys drive them out and the others fly out, then on the way back the guys that drove out get to fly back and other 2 guys that flew out can drive back. Ok I have taken care of that now the rest is up to you Big-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr | |

| If I remember right, we were supposed to drop our atv fully loaded out at a shipping company in atlanta where they were wrapped in plastic and it was $250 or so for shipping both ways.
The take turns system might work better!
2012. let's go! | |

| How about one of those large shipping containers? We pack it and pay a shipper? We might have to stack them in there but we could pack the tools to do it. ?????????? | |

| I went to Paiute in 2008 with TriadTrailblazers (TTB -- www.triadtrailblazers.com). Used a company called TrailTrackers to carry most of the ATV's. Shipping from Winston-Salem to Marysvale was $800 each and we had 16 ATV's on the semi. Flew into Vegas and spent 10 days on the Paiute. Great Trip that ran a little under $2000. This last Sept TTB went to Taylor Park. This time we opted to drive the 1800 miles. Not a bad drive since we rotated drivers. My truck had 3 ATV's and others had from 2 to 4 depending since we had 2 Rzr's. That trip was cheap -- with food and everything for 7 days it cost under $800 a person. Driving was cheaper than a semi in this case. I'm not sure if I ever want to go back to Colorado -- way too rocky but did have some great passes. The Pauite in Utah was incredible. I do plan on going there again. If you decide to look into a semi the SxS's can double stack if you can remove the cages during shipping to reduce height. | |

| 2012 might be an option for me. I would have to choose between that or taking the family to Europe. | |

| My best friend that is getting a commander soon (and joining as soon as he gets it) is also a trucker. He is actually buying his own truck within the next month and will have a flatbed trailer. He would be more than happy to cart us out there for just helping with diesel. Only thing is how many sxss can you fit on a 53 foot trailer? Gotta estimate every one 5 ft wide? theres 10 maybe 11 for the non S or non wide rhino folks. | |

| One thing about Moab is that you have to trailer a short distance to the trails each day. Cant ship your machine and do that. Best option is two couples sharing a ride and pulling two machines. Light duty 20 ft utility trailer would be the ticket. At todays prices you would be looking at around $1300 for fuel, or $650 each. Need at least 8 days. Thats another $700 for lodging. It's definately a trip worth spending the money for. | |
