Details: This is a family friendly ride that will be ~50-70 miles of mostly easy to some moderate trails.

Sounds like a good time. I can't wait until my daughter is big enough to ride.......

Well that is the day I F'd up and got married so maybe I can convice the wife that I am going to take her to Chattanooga for our anniversary. Then she'll say......."Why do you have the Rhino loaded up?"

Come on and ride. It is usually a great ride. we started with 20 or so. Last year we had well over 100. We broke up into 7 groups last year.

GO WEST ON I-24 FOR 6.2 MILES

GO RIGHT ONTO US-27 NORTH AND GO 4.2 MILES
YOU WILL PASS THE TN AQUARIUM, AT&T FIELD AND RIVERFRONT ON YOUR RIGHT , THEN YOU WILL CROSS THE TENNESSEE RIVER, THEN TAKE THE 5TH EXIT, SIGNAL MOUNTAIN (US127N)

GO - 1.9 MILES, (YOU WILL SEE A SUPER WALMART, BURGER KING AND K-MART ) TURN LEFT ON - TN RT. 27 (SUCK CREEK ROAD)

GO 8.0 MILES AND TAKE A LEFT AT - THE PRENTICE COOPER SIGN.
(IT'S A 4 FOOT X 4 FOOT SIGN) GO 1 TENTH MILE

TURN LEFT ON - CHOCTAW TRAIL (SMALL WMA SIGN)

GO 2 TENTH MILE - TAKE NEXT LEFT TURN ON GAME PRESERVE RD

GO STRAIGHT 4 TENTHS (ROAD TURNS TO GRAVEL AFTER 1 TENTH)AND PARKING IS ON LEFT


THERE IS AN KANGAROO BP STATION JUST PAST THE BURGER KING,LAST PLACE TO GET GAS,ALSO A BI-LO ACROSS THE ROAD FROM KANGAROO.

FROM ROCKWOOD/OLIVER SPRINGS JUST COME SOUTH ON US-27 AND TAKE THE SIGNAL MOUNTAIN BLVD. EXIT AND FOLLOW THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS.

FROM GEORGIA TAKE I-75 NORTH TO 75 / 24 SPLIT TAKE I-24 WEST AND FOLLOW ABOVE DIRECTIONS FROM SPLIT

FROM ALABAMA I-59 TO I-24 EAST TO US-27 TO SIGNAL MOUNTAIN BLVD. THEN FOLLOW ABOVE DIRECTIONS.

I saw that there was some primitive camping areas at the gate but with a ride this big where do most folks stay?

There are campgounds around the area for camping as well. Most of the campers stay at the trail head. Others either drive in that morning or get a hotel in Chattanooga (~20 min. drive)

This ride is next week. If it keeps raining, we may need jet skis.

I can do it any weekend you want.......

Well we had ~50 or so riders with a lot of SXS's with multiple riders. We broke off into 3 groups, fast, slow, and half fast :D

Really we had a faster group led by Nascar Attic, an ATV group led by BamaGirl, and a UTV group led by Satch and Big G.

We started ~9:30 or so down Tower Rd to Braddison Branch Rd. Taking all left turns we went to Lawsons Rock then Lusk Point coming out at Lusk Cemetery. From there we to Snoopers Rock then back to Tower Rd.

We went on down and took a right onto Dry Branch then over to Bluff View were we ate lunch. We back tracked back down Dry Branch because by then Tower Rd started getting dusty. When we hit Tower Rd, we stopped to change a flat on a RZR. He had a plugged hole and the plugs had worked their way out. He had a spare so he just put it on and off we went to Davis Pond. From there we decided to hit Haley Creek.

On the way we ran into the fast group and the ATV group where Wyld was over heating a little. We traveled down Haley Rd trying to make it to Shingle Loop Rd where we ran into the storm damage from the previous weeks storm. We decided rather than spend hours cutting all the downed trees, we would just turn around and head back.

Got close to 60 fun filled miles in with minimal dust except for Tower Rd.

Thanks to all that came out. We will do it again next year.
