I tell you what, I'm pretty handy around a shop, But I think you've got me beat and then some.. I'm impressed.. Everything from powder coating, sheet metal, welding and tube bending, stereo and fiberglass work. You've got a very cool machine and one of the few that can say they did all the work.. I much rather follow along watching someone do their own mods vs just seeing some one drop a ton of money on one.

I am thinking about making something similar to your setup, only with two 6x9's and no head unit, just an amp. I have played around with fiberglass, but the stranded fibers (the actual hair like stuff) seems pretty hard to work with. I have seen the mat or "sheet" like stuff that bondo sells. I would think it would work better for building something like that? I would think the hair like fiberglass would be better for fixing spots in a fiberglass peice. I have also heard that using a felt like blanket works too.
