Just bought a 2010 Teryx LE Sport friday. Black with Kawi Green accents and I think I'm fallingin love. I have a 08 Rhino LOADED and this is definitely starting to steal the show. Currently is bone stock (minus ridiculous lightning bolt stickers and bed stickers) but it's stealing the rhino's 27" bighorns and the SSV stereo system tomorrow. I'm wanting to do muzzy duels, msd, and K&N to start off. I'm looking at clutch kits but not which way I should go so suggestions are welcome. I think Im going to make my own windshield out of lexan from work and I'm want a black plastic roof. I'll get some new pics tomorrow.
So what kind of issues should I be looking for?? And what are some immediate mods I should do?? Also what is the bolt pattern for the Teryx wheels??

skid plates are a must, as for problems I have a 08 and the only problem I have is the front upper a arm bushings. The stock belt busted at 1600 miles and I beat the hell out of mine.

Awesome I had notice Kawi cheaped out on some belly protection. After some investigation today I also realized that you almost have to have a secret code to get to the engine. It has like 10 layers underneath the cover... A little insane if you have to do maintaince.

Congrats on the new Teryx. I can say that after 7 months i like it more every time i take it out. I agree with Roadie. I put the full belly skids on mine.
As far as the Muzzys and MSD. I have done a lot of reading over the last 7 months and as of right now, i'm not going to spring for the $1100 for Muzzys and the MSD. I have read too many conflicting reports on what the actual gains are. I'm not at all convinced it's worth the money for the performance gain. Mine pulls strong stock all the way to the Limiter at 52MPH. I'm happy with that. I am going to put a OD clutch cap on it for $150. This will get top speed to about 56-57 MPH and let me cruise at 50 at a lower RPM. I will get the one with the bearing that allows me to keep the electric engine brake. I really like how it works.
As fast as this sport and the machines in it are changing, i'm not dumping a lot of money on Mods in my machines. Instead i'm going to save it for my down payment on a new one about every 3 years.

Great info... I love feedback from guys who know what they are talking about. I have to be honest and say I want the muzzy more for the sound than the power, it's the best sounding exhaust and sxs combo by far. You are right yank its incredible that a guy has to spend $1100 for something like that when the machine has power to spare.

No doubt, it does have great sound. The cool thing about the Teryx is if you plan on building one to perform, the MSD and the Muzzys are the building blocks you need and will adapt perfectly to a 750 high performance or 840 BB Build. For about $3500 you can make one haul ass.

Well I really never do any high speed riding unless I ride to the store to get fuel lol. About 20 is max speed on our normal trails. I love the torque but dont really want to give up alot of top end either. I probably ask too much out of it. I have a buddy that has a can am outlander with a hmf penland pro pipe which sounds incredible... It would be nice to pull up next to him and watch his jaw drop.

Very nice looking ride. I think you will love it more each day.
I have an 09 bought Nov. 08. Has over 3700 miles and still running stock belt. I have not has any issues other than the stock battery didnt last long.
Keep us updated on your mods and how you like your new machine.

Congrats on the buy.I worked on one earlier this spring and yes full skids are in order for it before it sees the trail.I built a 4 seat cage for it.The first trip he took it out and riped the rocker off of it.To much plastic but I love the torque. It makes my Rhino feel like a WIMP.lol Very nice machines.

Pac I actually rode with a guy and his teryx's battery died... He said he had been having battery problem for a long time.
It definitely has the torque Baxter. My rhino 700 had a clutch kit, intake, exhaust, and dynatek and it is no competion. Maybe on top end but not enough to pull out a race.
I put my 27" Bighorns (which actually measure 28") today and HOLY CRAP!!! What a difference!!!! I thought I would share some pics with everyone.
Difference...
Great Stance...
Look at the clearance...
And the V-Twin doesn't even notice a difference... Pulls them like a champ.

That sounds pretty good but if I dont go with muzzy duals I'll go with HMF swamp series I think. Is motoworks a slip on??
