No, the 700 in the prowler is not the suzuki motor they use in the 700 atv it is a bored out 650 HI arctic cat motor. A few guys have them on arctic chat and like them.
Wow, I had heard somewhere awhile back that they were using the Suzuki Motor. That explains the difference in HP. Here is where I read it. ( I knew I wasn't Crazy)
Here are the current HP ratings for the Big Bores. The info is from 2007-2008 certifications in CA. Most were in KW so I converted to HP as that is what most of us reference. Seems to be pretty accurate based on the machine reviews with the exception of the Cat. Not sure why it is down on power compared to the King since it is the same engine. Maybe the restrictive airbox setup??
These numbers are measured at the crank, not the rear wheels. If you would put your machine on a dyno, you would get a lower number due to losses from the tranny setup.
