| Have any of you guys ridden at Big Rock in Maysville, KY? I'm thinking of rolling over there one weekend for an overnighter since it's so close, but I'd like a little feedback from you guys. Is it worth a 2.5 hour drive? The don't have full camper hook ups, just electricity, which is ok. I'm more interested in the riding...how are the trails?
Thanks | |

| Hey Marty, I haven't planned a trip yet. I'm starting a new job next month, so I know I won't be able to get off work for the bigger 3-4 day trips, so I'm hunting for close (2hrs or so) overnight trip spots. I can't justify driving 4 hours to Coal Creek just for an overnight...too much driving for that.
There's also a place in Clay City (Mountain Pkwy offroad) that I'm going to look into. | |

| I would like to go along to Big Rock or Slade, KY as well. Let me know when you plan on going. We went to Lawrence County Recreation Park in Indiana last weekend. Its only 400 acres but has a nice campground. They charge $25/night to RV camp and $15/day to ride. They are widening the ATV trails there for side-by-sides. I rode most of the ATV trails Saturday and had to cut some small trees to get through in some places with my RSR-S. Most of the trails were not a problem. Trails are all Green. Weather was good Saturday. Poured down rain Saturday night. Rained Sunday AM as well. We were the only side-by-side there on Saturday. | |

| Myself, Dr Chop, Brandon B and DoddS rode Slade area this weekend. Done Walker's Creek, Creek Trail, Rattlesnake Hill, Carburetor Hill, Townsend Cave, Smith Cemetary trail and back down Lower Stair case and back to the trucks. No carnage (other than several center caps getting busted)and a great ride. Sorry no pics to share. | |

| FYI, Big Rock just put in a zip line. It's supposed to be a blast. I did quite a bit of wheeling there in my Jeep and have taken the RZR down there once and had a good time as well. | |
