| I got a new belt becauase of it slipping nad making noise. I installed the belt best way I could by wingin it by removing both the sheave and the front clutch to get it to fit. I reinstalled the belt got it all buttoned up & took it for a test ride and almost no low end power and at top end like normal...any insight or proper way to install the belt? links or info welcome | |

| It's a little late now but you don't have to remove either sheave to change the belt next time. Take off the cover and the cage then use one of the long bolts from the cover and run it in the secondary sheave (you will see two threaded holes) when you run the bold in it spreads the sheave and you can easily put the belt over. Then back the bolt out and button it all up. All you need to change it is a 10mm socket and extension. Be sure you put the belt back on in the right direction, they are directional. | |

| Bush brings up a very good idea, if you took that primary apart you may have a roller that has jumped out of track. (the part with the 8 or so screws around it) | |
