| I'm getting a new 2011 blue and white LE RZR . I hope i'm not making a mistake getting it. Anyway what kind of skid plates are you guys using? I'm going to get the RaceTech 2" lift also were's the best place to get it from? BigR what springs are you using on your WER shocks? I took the shocks off my Teryx and will have Walker redo them for the Gazer. The only reason i'm trading for the RZR is I want something narrower. The Teryx has been great, hope the Rzr will be as good. Here's the one | |

| Roadie, I am not sure if you would like my shock settings. I had custom suspension revaule mine. I reduced compression by 50% and change my springs to 200 rear 150 front. IMO the walkers were way to stiff for me.
We do a lot of rock crawling/hill climbing/ trail riding and I needed a softer ride. It works for me but out west they add stiffer springs.

| Check J&J Industries on eBay. I got front/rear A-Arm guards, and front/rear diff skids with hardware shipped to my house for $175.00...I don't know if they offer them for a RZR, but you couls call them. Here is the Tony's Toy's full skid plate system with the side guards for the S fender flares, and cover the inside of the front fender-wells, and they are 1/2" thick. | |

I am still using stock skids because aluminum tends to hang up. However, I am getting ready to buy UHMW skids. I think that is the way to go.

| After having aluminum and having the UHMW plate that I made I wouldn't go back to aluminium. My UHMW goes from the front bumper to the hitch. It hangs over the sides about an inch also to act as rock spiders.
It's all one piece except for the piece for front diff, I kept it separate and made it to roll around the front bumper.

| I bought the tusk uhmw skids over a year ago and they have been tested the entire time. Still in good shape a few gouges and such and they are only 3/8 of an inch. I think I paid $300 for them. Why pay more when you can get the same protection for less IMO. | |

| Well I have bought the plastic. I don't care about rock crawling but I am worried about the hit trail riding at 20 to 30 mph on a rock sticking out. I just don't feel plastic will protect like alum. I have never seen this plastic so when it comes in I may understand more to what u guys are talking about | |

From what I've read most cutting boards are made from virgin UHMW.

Well anyway welcome aboard ! Best deal on skids is from aluminum products, great price and the side panels give you built in rock guard protection on the side plastic. Whats the web site ? Here it is, https://www.aluminumproducts.com/site.php?pageID=68&iteminfo=1&productID=481This set has full side body protection, and if you do some research on the plastic sets you will find that they will give if you come down hard on rocks and ive read many posts on rzr.net about guys breaking, their trans, and even motor blocks, aluminum wont give like that. I run EMP front and rear a-arm guards, they offer great protection and clean out easy. And yes IMO you did good, im sure you will love it, anybody that drives a rzr in the trails falls in love with them. I thought something was up back when you joined our site a couple months ago
