| Just noticed -- how well do the harnesses clear them, Marty? Or, will you need to convert to the "Y-type" that goes through that opening? | |

| Some info on the Commander seats. To make them work on a stock cage you will need to Fab up some bases. Seat frame had been mocked up on the plate base to fit me and then bolted to it. The seat had to also be moved closer to the steering wheel so it would have the room to be taken in and out with the factory cage clearances. I am 5'9" and it fits me perfect. Anyone over 6' would probably have some issues. Because it was moved closer to the wheel and also is maybe 1" higher, i had a problem with the angle my foot had on the gas pedal. I mounted a block on the floor for my heel to raise my foot placement. Feels great now and is a much improved feel on the pedal over stock. Just thought i would add this info for anyone looking to do this Mod. I am very pleased with the results. Dont have them in on the picture, but the harness straps go through the headrest. That works great also. | |

| I ran across this topic for the first time about a week ago and it peaked my interest so I done some research and my new rzr seats ship out from cali in the mornin! Won them from an ebay auction for about 1/3 of the price of most aftermarket seats.

Post up some pics when you get them in. It's cool to get some more comfortable seats in the Teryx without breaking the bank. | |

| Got my RZR seats in yesterday at work and installed them last night. Absolutely love em by the way. Installed them on my stock seat bases. Didnt use any of the existing holes in the base. The back holes wouldnt clear the bed and the front holes were too tight on the steering wheel. So I centered them up on the base and put a washer under the front to lean them back a hair. They clear the bed by about an inch. The leg room is awesome but I couldnt lean em back much more because it would make it too far to reach for the wheel. They do sit up a lil higher. Sometime in the near future I'm gonna buy or maybe even build some lowering bases, then they will be absolutely perfect. Will get some pics up soon. | |
