Just noticed -- how well do the harnesses clear them, Marty? Or, will you need to convert to the "Y-type" that goes through that opening?

They go through the headrests, like here in OC's pics.

Some info on the Commander seats. To make them work on a stock cage you will need to Fab up some bases. Seat frame had been mocked up on the plate base to fit me and then bolted to it. The seat had to also be moved closer to the steering wheel so it would have the room to be taken in and out with the factory cage clearances. I am 5'9" and it fits me perfect. Anyone over 6' would probably have some issues. Because it was moved closer to the wheel and also is maybe 1" higher, i had a problem with the angle my foot had on the gas pedal. I mounted a block on the floor for my heel to raise my foot placement. Feels great now and is a much improved feel on the pedal over stock. Just thought i would add this info for anyone looking to do this Mod. I am very pleased with the results.

Dont have them in on the picture, but the harness straps go through the headrest. That works great also.
