New puppy

Well, the GF and I were out tooling around a found a German Shepherd puppy this weekend, we are trying to come up with some cool names for him, the only one I could come up with was Maximillion Ducati, any suggestions?

We decided on Maximillion Kersh............. The kids call him Max, I cannot believe how much energy this dog has! He is wearing me out!!!

A friend of my GF found him on the side of the highway a few weeks ago and posted signs up all over the place and no one claimed him so we took him in, he seems to be house broken and knows a few commands but his attention span is even shorter than mine right now (the Vet thinks he is only 8 months old), He is also crate trained so that helps out quite a bit.................. If I can just get him trained on how to run the remote for the TV and the lights switches, I will be happy!

Any suggestions for training him, and keeping his attention when the kids are around?

Hey mudd..Ive trained my dog to open the door,get my shoes,get a me a drink,heal,sit,down,stay,come,fetch,guard.. u name it. You need to bring him to the house one day and i'll show you how to do it. it will save you money on a trainer. But if you want a trainer ..im AKC certified in Ga

Nick, I may get with you sometime soon and see about dropping Max off with you for a short period and then coming down and spend a day with you learning how to train him on other things like??????????????

I am tied up for the next few weeks trying to sell off 18 cars and get 18 new ones for my office (nothing like spending someone elses money)
