Subject: XT or X? Tue May 24, 2011 12:40 am
Hey guys ive been checking on two commanders both 1000s one is a XT with a windshield and roof with the winch and bumpers. Also an X that just has a roof. But obviously it is an X but my question is are those shocks on the X package worth getting? I like the fact of it coming with a winch but beadlocks seem very nice!! Let me hear it!!

Add up the cost difference. I winch is $500 and bead-locks are $900 and go from there. Ask your self what you need or want.

the Xs have a bunch of xtra...shocks which are alot better..splash shields to stop the overheating issue..bead locks..its cheaper to add the winch

Haha they only got yellow!! I wanted red but i was lucky to find these 2 yellow ones. Another feature of the X that actually has me more sold than the beadlocks and shocks are rock sliders already already on it. Also I think the ones they have the X might actually be cheaper due to the XT having a full windshield Top and back dust shield already on it. Ive heard the fox shocks are nice but the elkas make this thing handle like an indy car

It has bolts and nuts right? Take it off. The standard RZR has a front sway bar too. It comes off just fine.

I would go for the X, you can always add a winch later or better yet ride with someone that has one
