BIG-R, that was early Friday so it had to be North side somewhere. I do remember it being a blue trail. I even downloaded a app just for stuff like this so we could mark it, but I got excited with the new ride and kinda forgot the app.

Yeah there was not any blue trails. They where all red! Had a great time all of the trails that I roade were very chalenging. I did not ride any of the Y trails that I usely ride because all of the other trails were so tuff. I did go up trail 5 and it was very rough only one out of our group went up with out help and he was on a 450 fourman nobody knows how he did it including him we all just gussed it was a lot of budweiser, but we ran in to some guys in jeeps later and they said that they couldn't get up 5 because it was the rocks was so slick. Just keep on turning them side ways.

Alot of heavy rains and storms have taken it's toll on the trails. Brimstone is in the process of working all the damage spots. blue will still be blue when done and red will be red, but all the trails will be passable. just have to work the roughest spots to bring them back into condidtion.

Yeah many of us do. However, they try and keep the trails in the right condition. There are many that don't like riding things that scare the crap out of them. Also, they have their kids with them. That is why they have the color system.......

before I changed rides, I really liked the Blue trails and wanted them to be accurate. so I totally understand the need for correctness.
but I still liked em...hehehe

Yea, the red's will always be there. however they can't allow it to become an ALL red trail park, like Ronnie said kids and lesser experienced riders need milder trails. so the blue's will be brought back to spec as well as the green becoming blue...... Brimstone has usually always been or by design been a 40% Red, 40% blue, 20% green trail park....that ratio can and does vary due to traffic and weather, but that is what they are shooting for as much as possible.

I liked the chalenge too and had a blast, but I was a little surprised. It took me a couple of trails to get my experience up since it had been a year since I had lost ridden on a trail. Having kids sure changes your priorites. I use to ride about once a month about a thousand miles a year.

I understand why the trails are mark for different levels. However, I hope they don't change much over the next few weeks. Because I will be there and love it when trail 5 is in "bad" shape.

Well Big R you are in luck, trail 5 is a challenge about now, several went sunny side on that one and broke a lot of parts, even the big Super ATV XP with 5" lift and 30" tires broke on 5 this trip. its a doozie!!

We never made it up or down 5 this last trip. On a side note some of the blues were tougher than the reds - I like them all though.
