| I get so tired of hearing this line of thinking -- Yamaha has had to defend the entire UTV industry in court, in front of the Feds Consumer Protection Ccmmittee, etc.
While Yamaha has been fighting to essentially protect your right and ability to even have a UTV, all we hear from many is "boring, out of touch, out of date, etc."
Without Yamaha's willingness to fight, the UTV industry would've gone the way of the 3-wheeler....

So true......the mouths and court system sure killed Big Red 200. Flooding the market one day, not available the next.

| I would be happy with the same overall look, I just wish they would do a little more in the motor area of the machine. The dependability is there lets just pump up the power. I would really like a chance to ride Brimstone with a Rotax powered Rhino. | |

| All things considered...Still a great machine.
Their price is nuts for a dated machine though. They are not selling many, but making a ton on the ones they are selling.

| I agree that prices are high, for what you get -- essentially $1000 more than the comparable Teryx.
The base 2012 Model 700fi lists at $11,499 The camo model (otherwise a base machine) lists at $12,049 The Sport (reservoir shocks, top, wheels, etc.) lists at $13,399
There is no longer a "Special Edition" which combined wheels, top, etc, but used the less expensive standard shocks.
As for me, I'm quite content with the $7000 I spent for a 450 Special Edition a couple years back...
I guess the moral of this story is that good sharks lawyers are expensive....

| That thought has crossed my mind several times. There is a nice looking silver one close to me and I love that silver. But, alway's seem to talk myself out of it. | |

| Also for 2012 you'll get a new ROPS with a padded shoulder restraint bar and safety nets much like the RZR and Commander. | |

The only thing it lacks are the rezzy shocks and aluminum wheels. the shoks are easily found on ebay. wheels may be harder.

| Dang........Disappointing for sure. I would like to see them come out with something(stock) to compete with the Teryx at least. Oh well, mine will smoke a stock Rhino 700, a RZR-S, and a Commander. | |
