Thank you for the call-to-arms Foxfire!!! The organization I represent is the OHV Community, I'm just an "individual yearly dues paying member" of the "BlueRibbon Coalition" and the "California Association of 4WD Clubs".
Items I post come from a variety of sources aside from the BRC like the AMA, ARRA, UFWDA, newspaper articles and information from many other National groups who are fighting for motorized access to our public lands.
I truly believe that none of us desires to put a tire over every inch of public land, a goal we are often accused of having by the conservation groups. I also believe that the majority of OHV folks are good stewards of the land they are allowed to access and treat that privilege with respect.
If there is any group who want it all it's the Radical En-viro-Mentalists, they are never satisfied with any closure if it doesn't result in a "Wilderness" designation and have no use for the term "multiple-use sustained-yield".
Aside from being able to ride places worth riding, what about all the natural resources they have already prevented us from accessing and those in future proposed closure areas, which makes us even more dependent upon foreign countries and hence more indebted to them. Our Government borrows nearly 1/2 of every dollar spent as it is. No wonder the Nation is in such an economic crisis.
Off my soap box . . . thanks again to everyone here!!!
