Mine is made with aluminum and stainless steel bolts. I made the side spacers with square aluminum and the plates are old aluminum street signs. I bent a 90 degree bend on the front plate, GOOP glued a piece of rubber for a stop and inserted a plastic Stihl blade protector inside.

Used ruber coated straps for the top mounts, like on the roof straps. Drilled 2 holes in the plastic front of the bed for 2 bolts.

Side view shows the square stock as spacer and bracing. You can also see the the 90 degree bend on the front plate, with rubber stop for the saw to rest on.

I got tired of looking at overpriced crappy ones that really would not work for me.

I have no time do the things I want to do. Just finished the wiring on my 30" light bar I got from AJ about a month ago. I have had it installed for a week, just not wired. Maybe some day I'll slow down and make some.

I just carry an Eastwing Axe behind the seat. You would be surprised what a good axe will do. I made a mount for it for my 800. Guess I'll have to make a new one for the 900 since its different. I wouldn't mind having a mount for my chain saw. Same time though I don't think I could see trail riding with a 300+ dollar saw in the back. Even a cheap 14" saw runs about 200 for a decent one
