Opinion on truck

I am looking at getting a truck. F150 to be exact. I come across this deal here at home.

The only draw back to me is the mileage but it is about 15k a year on this one which is not too bad. What do you guys/gals think? You will have to manually copy the link. The pipe characters are causing a problem for some reason.

Ha Ha Ha but I am a Ford Truck man and will continue to be. I was looking more from a value standpoint in regards to price and mileage. We all have our brand opinions but curious to anyone else who may have an idea of value on this in that may be familiar with used Fords and prices.

That is a nice truck. I just bought an 05 diesel 2500 Chevy fully loaded with 52k miles for not much more than that. Sounds like a reasonable price. F150s are a good truck for sure.

Thanks LT. I will get the price down a bit or get more on my trade. It should not be a problem to get them down to 17,9 if they have any sense at all. My second choice was a chevy but I love Ford trucks.

It is not a bad price but I think you can find better (lower miles for the same price). I would check with All State Ford they have the best prices on new or used fords. Call and speak with Jack Thomas tell Ronnie Bryant sent you.

I will look at All State for sure. I have seen some trucks there just not sure they have what I am looking for in a used truck right now. I am looking to spend around 18 to 18,5 so I will take a look.

To be honest, thats a big price for a 5 year old truck(05's came out in 04)
with all the current deals and incentives i would look into a left over 08 model. If your financeing it, the 0% and rebates gets the price of a new one within a few thousand of that one and you get a full warranty.

Looks like it has had a leveling-kit put on it. My kind of truck!!! I think a little high too tho.

Yeah I was aware of that so I have worked the numbers with them and got it down in the 16 area. Seems to have been well taken care of though and not really used as a truck to be honest.

I searched for 08's with the 6500 rebate but no one has any in the style I am looking for left. They either have the $42K ones or the $15K work truck ones left.


I appreciate everyones feedback definitely makes me think on different angles.

Well I bought it. 16480 was the final price.

My wife had not even seen the truck and when I pulled into the drive way she loved it so I did good.

The truck drives and rides really well and is very clean. Exactly what I was looking for so I can't ask for anything more. Thanks guys for the advice.

Congrates thats a nice truck.....just gotta give ya crap.....cause its a ford. We have two ford trucks, diesel, and they for sure are good trucks.

I have a F-150 and a F-350. I love both my Fords.

Yep 5.4 4x4 3.55 gears. And it has remote start which I was not aware of that scared the out of me.
