Gunny -- I assume by last years model you are eluding to the new 850XP Rzr that is due soon as a 2011....

Is the 850XP Rzr with Power Steering really coming out around Thanksgiving as a 2011? Heard from a local dealer it's to be available in limited quantity before Christmas due to Polaris sales being lower and the company needing the cash. The rumor was 50" and 60" versions with Orange and a mid Green being the color options. Pricing rumor was $11399 and $14799...

If it's true my Toyhauler may need something else to carry. I've already told Wayne (local dealer) to put me on the list for first delivery of one of the orange one's. With 70+hp that will be a fast pumpkin....

Somebody is pulling your chain, the 850 will never be in a rzr, it a vtwin that sits horizontally and it would require a full frame change to fit it in, second polaris has reported record success in their financial affairs so i dont think they are hurting for money. And why would they release a 2011 model in 2009???? These rumors are always out there, its all baloony IMO. Everyone thought the 850 would be in the ranger but it only got the 800. They might build a completely new machine to house the 850 but i doubt it will happen before 2012. Polaris has a history of running their new motors in atvs for 3 years before moving them into other models and 09 was the first year of the 850 atv.
