Is the winch not operating at all or is the motor running and the cable not moving?

Shawn,
Direct-connect it to a battery (at the motor) see if it works. If it does not, take the gearcase apart, opposite motor side, you'll probably be shocked at what you'll find............

If it does work, let me know, i've got a Gorilla contactor you can have.

Thanks Pate I'll try a direct contact and let you know what happens. I've replaced the contactor once because it didn't do anything but this time the cable just won't engage so I may need to take it apart just o have a look around

Just hear the motor click but don't hear the motor running and cable doesn't move in or out

Was that one suppose to be water proof??? Apparently it was not.... I have never owned a gorilla but I have owned Warn Viper and now KFI, they have all held up great but I did have issues with the warn in the mud and rocks due to it having to much cable for the small spool.....

Your right Kent. It's now Viper-Winches, by Moto-Alliance, which I own one. It's a far better product now, I've had both........IMO. The Gorilla was used three-times and broke twice. I've put some time on the 4500 Viper-Max and it's been flawless (fingers-crossed)

they sent me a new motor ( no questions asked) under
the warranty. Then it tore up again out of warranty and
they still offered to fix it but I had to send it to them.

The truth is its not worth the price of shipping!!!!

Have had excellent luck with my Warn on the Rhino and RZR. I have also heard good things about the Viper-Max. I think the Viper is a good value. I tried to convince my brother to put one on his Rhino but he hasn't yet.

I hope it serves you well bro....

Mine has done great I have had it submerged in water and mud on numerous occasions(top of Bumper under water) and it has always worked.... I have never had it apart to see what it looks like on the inside and I hope to keep it that way lol.....
