The NICU nurse asked Susan and Eric to remove their wedding rings. She then slipped them over Ally's foot! These pics will show you folks just how dog gone small she really is. She is doing GREAT though. Removed from the ventilator and breathing well on her own. All is well.

Kent, she was 1 lb, 15oz. at birth. And 13 3/4 inches long. She has gained 2 oz. since. But they say she will lose a little before she starts to really grow good. Say it's normal.

Wow --even smaller than I'd guessed. I was thinking closer to 3 lbs. I've seen 4 pounders and thought they were little -- she's half that size!

So very glad to hear that she and mom are doing so well for such as preemie...

Wow!! she is really small. I had a cousin who had a premie baby....& now you wouldn't even know it. Congrats on the new edition. I looked at my wedding rings, & it's just crazy how a baby can be that small. I hope she does good, & God Bless the little one.
