My snorkel is 98% finished UPDATED WITH PICS

I ended up doing the 2 stacks up the sides and it turned out very nice. I have tested it in my yard and down my road and so far it runs great. I will be riding it tomorrow for a true test. I will report back with pics of the final prodcut and a let ya know how it performs under heavier loads such as sugar sand and water.


PS, [b]IT IS WAY QUIETER than stock, Id say by 40% in the cab

mine ran perfect up the road and around the house.but when i took it out on trails it started running like crap.............................rejetted and now it runs best it ever has

Lets not go that far , I said sugar sand and water.........water meaning the water hose when it gets a bath

Were headed ti river ranch so it will probably get a little dirty

This is why I say it is only 95%. I have had the same problem in the past so until it has been fully tested that 5% will remain missing.

I am actually getting to much air so I have devised a filter system to reduce the air and protect all the components. This will also allow for easy elevation jetting changes.

I raced my neighbor whom has the same machine minus all the goodies and I beat him every time and I had a passenger. On a black top road.

when you goin to RR? I think we might be goin next weekend. Dreth check out the FL rides were tryin to get a ONF ride for the 17th

Here are a few pics of the final product. This is after the 1st 75 mile ride.

I have around $300 in the project. I used all extra strong stainless steel hose clamps and 2 3/8 stick hose for the straight runs. I have clamps on order for the stacks.
I use the washable air conditioner filter to help with the dust and control the air. It worked great!! 75 miles of sugar sand at wide open throttle with the occassional mud pit and a few water crossings. The noise factor inside the cab was drastically reduced!!

Do you have your intake, CVT intake and exhaust all piped together?

Yes I do. I set it up so I could easily changed it if It did not work but it ran great. To much air at 1st so that is why i added the filter material.

I was confused too. It ran for 75 hard miles as if it was stock.

I am going to have to analyze this. I am new to the whole snorkeling thing. I just know my wife.....she likes to get it dirty and in the water. Too bad she does not like to clean them too......

Well to do it the way i did will cost you around $300. I am now snorkling the exhaust so i will have a submarine
