| Two things be sure to burp all the air out of the system and Triple check for any leaks.. I installed a heater last yer which I love. But like a dump ass I had a very small leak on one of the hoseclamps that I didn't notice. It only really leaked once the machine got hot and was running. The leak kept causing more air in the system. Once I figured that out it worked great.. First couple of trips with it not so much. | |

It came with the heater and the electrical, I ordered the fittings from Univparts.com and the heater hose and clamps at a local autoparts. I have roughly $200 in the setup.

I THINK I have all the air out, how can I tell for sure? I had the front end raised very high and did all I could do including opening up the bleeder screw.

| That should get the air out. For the next ride or 2 keep a tool to open the bleeder if needed and maybe a little extra antifreeze just in case. | |

| Exactly what chip said. Your probably good just keep an eye on it. Double check for leaks after you ride the machine for a while.. Mine was very small and it only leaked once everything was hot and bouncing around.. Course by then I had mud and water everywhere so I didn't figure it out for a while... | |

| I used a plactic clamp on the radiator hose to force the antifreeze into the heater. By forcing it through the heater core, it pushed the air right out. I used manufactured 90 degree hoses so I could keep the heater hoses lower than the top of the radiator. WV Rider made me some steel tee's. I used one 3/4", quarter turn brass gas type valve from Lowes. I turn it off in the warmer weather and we run the fan to circulate air in the cab. | |

I am out of town right now but will get you a pic when I get home. Its really quite easy, just behind the radiator, behind the shock.
