My trailer is done..... woo hoo. Pics inside.

After seeing fellow member 8_balls trailer, (he custom built it himself) I fell in love with the idea of converting a trailer. After months of planning out costs, time and effort, I ended up ordering one from a manufacturer in Wisconson called Becker trailers.

All aluminum, not a piece of wood anywhere, enough electrical outlets to supply whatever I need complete with toilet and shower. I am going to install the beds myself, I just wanted to see logistics once I got the utv’s inside.

The trailer was shipped today so I should have it tomorrow.

I’ll have to ask again. Originally, I think it was in the high 3K lb range. I’m sure with the stuff added, we’re in the 4-4.5K range.

EDIT: The MCO says 3000 even. Now, I don’t know if that is the way it sits or the way the base trailer is from the factory. All I know is with everything aluminum, it should be pretty light.

Yeah, it was a little pricey. I started off looking at a regular trailer and converting it. By the time I installed everything and bought parts, I was about $2-4K less than if I had just bought a regular car hauler.... which would have been much more reasonably priced. (about 15K bought from a manufacturer)

If I had done it myself, I would have had about $12K in it.

Then I started “upgrading”. BIG MISTAKE....lol.

By the time you get aluminum floors, aluminum walls, no studs/rivets, blah, blah, blah... it starts to jack the price up.

I searched for months for used trailers and came across some killer deals but by the time I had the right configuration to haul a rzr, rzr170 and a 200 cc atv, it severely limited my choices.

In the end, I said fuk it and had Becker trailers build the one I wanted.

Hopefully I keep it long enough to enjoy/use/justify it....
