I know what you mean. I spent 2 days taking off things on the 2012 XP900, then started on the 2010 800S, but got tired and left a lot on it. Traded them in and made the owner of the S happy, I am sure.

Traded them in and made the owner of the S happy, I am sure. This is gonna take a while. Work has scheduled me for 72 hours per week til end of month. Just got the KB3 carrier bearing in today and harnesses in yesterday. decided to just paint the cage instead of having the powdercoat blasted off and redone. Have to build a new roof since the old one is messed up bad. gonna grease the wheel bearings before first ride and then all the wiring.....wish me luck...forget that i have to replace skid plate and tender springs...

| I have been playing with the clutch weights I didn't like how hard it engaged in my first set up so I started going lighter and lighter with the weights. Got tired of taking it apart and ended up putting the stock weighs back in and I'm liking it. Still have the stronger springs in. I need to actually weigh the weights and start going a little heavier than stock until I find a happy medium. | |

Just food for thought. i bought a cheap grams scale from office max. Used to weigh mail. ( ya, i know what ya'll are thinking). i use it to weigh rods, pistons and such. Might work on weighting the weights. If they are arms, also look at the curvature. That dictates how fast weight gets transferred. ( disclaimer) i know nothing of Polaris.

It was a factory option that the dealer must have ordered without your knowledge. It's a "CAN AM THING, WE (who don't own Can Am's) WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND".

Is that the side the studs broke on. Could be bent hub,or even the sliders the brake pads ride on. You could swap the hub to the other side and see if it moves with the hub.

Going to switch the hub that should tell. Didn't think about sliders. Thanks Bush. Your right Mike really don't need the brakes with the great engine breaking it has

| Been a bit busy myself over the weekend. Pulled off my Walkers to send to Smooth Ride. Maybe then the JX will ride as good as my 800S does. Also, replacing front brake pads, Tie Rod Ends (cause Super ATV TRE are crap), and front wheel bearings.

| I got some crap from them too Reeko, but the snow plow and mounting kit I got from them was way better than the Polaris plow and kit I had on the 800S. | |

Well after staring at their website for about an hour trying to find the forward 1.5" extended tie rods that looked like mine I gave up and pulled my order history. Contacted Super ATV and they are discontinued. They are replaced with a stock-ish TRE that is extended. Considering I got 2 rides out of my last TRE that had a bend in it to help with mis-alignment, I don't expect this one to last any longer. Does anyone have any experience with American Star or any other extended TRE out there for XP900 with forward A-arm kit?

| Well, swapped the hubs around. Cleaned the caliper on the drivers side checked and lubed the pins. Pins appeared to be in good shape. Put it all back together and rode around. We will see but so far no squeak. Time will tell | |
