| It seems everytime i go on a ride i find something that i really need to have for the next trip. What are some of the stuff you peeps have learned over your riding days to be MUST HAVE for the trails. They dont have to all be medicine or tool type stuff, but anything that makes your day easier or more enjoyable. So lets hear em!
Mine so far are 1. Food and drinks 2. Asprine or first aid kit 3. Tools and tire kit(air comp. and patch kit) 4. Googles or some type of eye protection 5. Tow strap or Winch in the group

| As far as a jack goes. If you just want one for resetting the bead or for changing a tire just go to a junk yard and pick up a scissor jack out of a small car.. Cost you 10 bucks if that and they are very light weight. Haha as far as what to carry the list can get as big as you let it. The stuff you have listed plus a tool bag and spare belt would be a good start. My tool bag isn't loaded but I can change a belt or tire, ect. Also have a few different nuts and bolts an extra lug nut or two. | |

| Belt, tire repair, a chem light or two. Tools you need to install or change any spare part you may need.
I found the best way is to do the task (i.e. change a belt) and use the bare minimum tools, and take those along, or better yet, buy them and dedicate them to your tool bag.
Oh, and never leave home with a empty cooler.

Good idea. The group i rode with yesterday used a yetti cooler for a jack lol worked good tho. I will dig up the pic tomorrow.....Ive seen a Bargs Root Beer cooler used as a fifth wheel to get a Teryx out of the backside of Black Mountain! Yet another reason to never ride without a cooler!

| Liquor, and as Craig said spare belt. Thats the only thing that has stranded me. Not the liquor, the belt. Although liquor played a part. | |

Haha, I have learned that alcohol can really do some damage on the trail.
