| It wont pull you out of every situation. Deep mud or extreme up hill it may not get the job done. I had a XT25 on my Rhino off of my rancher. It stranded me more than once. If you do install it carry a good snatch block, and extra cable or synthetic rope, and that should help. | |

| I've got a 2500# warn and it has pulled me out every i've needed so far but if I bought a new one I would get probably a 3500. If I had a snatch block I know I'd be good.
I've only had warns in the past and have only been let down once and that was because a soldered wire inside of it came loose. Of course when you need it you need it working so... it's fixed now. I've heard good stuff about viper winches and will probably get their elite model on my next winch purchase because of the price.

| Look on ebay, I think you can find it cheaper and still sold by motoalliance. Get the synthetic rope instead of the wire. My wife figured out a few weeks ago why I wanted to waste money and change out my wire rope a few weeks ago. She had to pull my winch out cause I couldn't get out the door and her hands got scraped up by the wire in a few places. | |

They are cheaper and I had a buddy just order one. There is a lot of chink crap out there, my thoughts are that it is just on the lower end on that scale. Of course that is just my opinion.

| I have a viper 4000 wide spool with syn. rope on my teryx, has worked great. As poor as my driving skills are I depend heavily on my winch. Check out Hunterworks that's where I got mine. They carry viper exclusively and both Motoalliance and Hunterworks have outstanding customer service. Good Luck with your choice. | |
