| been to coal creek brimstone several times was wondering if its worth the trip to go to royal blue, heard the rules are strict | |

| It was mostly an issue with the permit fee's for out of State people. | |

| I ride the Royal Blue Unit quite often... as well as the New River Unit. Both of these uints have ungroomed trails... nature is a player here.
I might ride the Sundquist Unit, where RideRoyalBlue.com campground is located, once, at most, twice, a year. Why, you ask? Mainly because the TWRA keeps the technical groomed out. All of the good riding is now gone, and it's just no fun for me. It is now a very good place for novices and young riders to start their learning curve.

| I ride Royal Blue and it is very nice change. The east trail system is not very difficult although there are some spots and there are some pucker factors on the outlaw trails. The west side is more like Brimstone.
They are not strict at all although you may run into TWRA checking you for permits. | |
