PostSubject: SAND SPORTS REPORT   SAND SPORTS REPORT EmptyMon Sep 17, 2012 12:08 pm

Alright guys get ready..... I just got off the phone with one of my close buddies that lives in Cali and he just got home from the SAND SPORTS SUPER SHOW (this is where can am did the big release) however all the reps were there from other manufacturers. Well here are some major points.

1. This is coming from Polaris and even can am reps, if you are a Polaris guy sell your xp. Because what they are releasing in jan this year will be the same jump in evolution as the XP was to the S.
2. Yes KTM will be releasing a sxs, but its gonna cost an arm and a leg.
3. Corey, you were right.... YAMAHA is finally getting back in the game. It was confirmed by their reps at the show. It will be around the same time as the new Polaris, first of the year sometime.

Exciting time to be in the sxs world

I am not real worried about the new machines coming out. I will not sell the XP for a few years. It is everything I wanted in a SxS.

With that said, I am very excited about the new machines hitting the market. Competition is great for the consumers. Better built, faster and more nimble machines. Also, they should have the bugs worked out by the time I decide to buy a new one.

I will let others work out the kinks - although they have good machines the first release seems to have issues that need to be figured out. Just got my Xp the way I want it, now I'm just going to ride it.

Better start saving my pennies! KTM building a SxS is interesting, have they ever built a 4x4 machine?
It really is good to see the manufacturers stepping up and building some cool new machines. Who would have thought 7 or 8 years ago that they would have evolved so much?

Can't wait for the new machines to roll out. I had a KTM 420 hare scrambles bike, may have been the best motor I ever had, If KTM enters the sxs competition it will certainly be an awesome ride, and expensive. Really want to see what Yamaha comes out with, Yamadogs were always reliable machines.

I'm happy with my entry level S LE for now drive I'm sure i'll keep up ok. If not i'll just get a more powerful mobile radio lol! I would never buy a first year anything, they tend to have too many bugs. They are cool to look at and check out. Eat Maybe down the rode i may upgrade, but not right now. However as Hollon says "Money does talk"

Are you talking about fullsize trail rigs?? Cause if you are, I'd like to know where you're finding them?
