Teryx out for a while

Well guys out of all the things to go wrong my transmission decided to go out! I lost high and low and took it to the shop and they said the whole things needs to be replaced. So I will be out for about two months, but cant wait to get back to it!

wth happened?

Well low was acting funny the last ride and it kept wanting to kick out so I rode in high the rest of the ride. Then we went on a night ride and then high just completely went out, but low was working perfectly so I was assuming that it was just a linkage issue, so i try to adjust the linkage multiple times and still the same result but then low started to get worse and worse, it got to the point where low wouldn't go over 2 mph without kicking out and grinding and high wont even try to engage, but reverse works perfectly lol So i took it to the shop and the guy couldn't believe it either but once he heard it, he said it wasn't any kind of linkage issue. So he is gonna contact me today and let me know for sure but its like 99% the transmission.

That sucks, at least y'all still have 1 more pig feeder. Hope you get it back up and going soon.

Get rid of that thing. Hell sale it and buy a Rhino. At lest a Rhino will make it out of the woods.......

Haha hey technically so did mine..... just with a flat tire and a nig rigged steering rack. Im gonna have a few whiskey drinks one night strap in real tight and cut it doin about 60 and take a roll or 2 and get insurance money for it. That or just put a match in the gas tank, that might look suspicious tho.

Well guys I got some bad news! The tranny is complete trash,my oil pump is trash, my valves were super tight. So $2500 later she will be like a new machine hopefully! Looking forward to being back on the trails!

Ouch that sucks.. Atleast it should be good as new after.

Man that sucks....

Well went and paid for it all yesterday... should be back at the end of the week!

I hate to hear about you tranny troubles, did they tell you what caused the problem?
