Kenwood 25 watt uhf frs/gmrs radios

From my research, the marine radio's are VHF anyways for transmitting long distances over flat surfaces.

I got one of KyMedic's Kenwood's. Very nice Compact setup. I added a Bearcat 20 watt external speaker and it is super clear and as loud as u want it to be.

Yep. I looked everywhere and could not find a waterproof uhf marine radio.

I don't have this radio but mine aren't water proof either. They are up high but they do get splashed here and there. I also don't remove them when I wash the machine.. I've never had a problem with them.. I would say unplugging the power would be a good idea when you wash the machine if you plan on not letting it dry before you cut it back on. After I wash it real good I try to leave it sitting out to dry for a while before cranking it back up..

HUUUMMM I mean you have the best way to drain the water out of your machine (that I have ever seen in my life!!!!!!!!)

i cover mine with a plastic bag when i wash my rzr just to be safe

Shower cap works great too. TFRYE figured that one out. I thought black people only wore those for their jerrycurls!!!!!!!

hell i wear one when i take a shower. hair like mine you have to keep it looking nice

Thanks again for the radio medic. Got it mounted the other day now Ii just have to wire it up.

All the Kenwoods are gone. Trying to locate more but these are getting harder to come by. I do have some Johnson 35 watt and some johnson 15 watt radios. Also have a shipment of some Uniden 25 watt units heading my way.
