I think the Dirt Commanders are the best tire I have tried so far and think I will be going back to them..
If the 27's hold true like the 26's they may run a little small so should be about the size of the 26 big horn.. Neal, you are right. 4+2 front and 6+2 rear.

| Thanks guys, I am loving the mirrors in general (seeing I never ran any on the rhino).. Debating on building an exo-skeletan to help protect the fenders which would help protect them also.. Thinking maybe adding a front bumper and the Polaris rear cage then just adding removable bars from them to the main cage. Not sure yet just working over ideas.. I kinda liked the rhino where if I layed it over I could keep the throttle peged and it would slid on the cage without hurting anything and would like to make the RZR the same way.. Here is some photo's of the mirrors folded in. | |

| I got out yesterday and installed the lights, pro armor bumper, bikemaster batteries, and the EMP switch panel.. I will try to get some photos up later.. I also found this bouncing around in the undercarriage, this has never been bolted up so I assume someone dropped it during assembly and just didn't go through the trouble to get it out.. Anyone got any idea where it should go? | |

| The Bracket is a shifter support, mine has one on the bike so I guess they dropped this one in assembly and just installed another instead of fishing this one out.. So now I guess I got an extra one... The Bumper and lights worked out great. Kinda wish I had drilled (yep drilled a few holes in the new bumper) the lower lights a little wider but I am happy with it so far. You cant see in the picture but the lower lights are recessed slightly inside the bumper bar for protection. I used the existing light mount locations on the bumper for the larger lights. The wiring all hid real well behind the bumper. The Squadron's draw 4.2 amps each so I used a 15amp fuse on them.. The SII's draw 2.1 amps so I used a 10 amp fuse on them.. May go up 5 on both later, still debating.. The Emp Switch panel was real easy to mount and after removing the skids the wiring was real easy to run, I just zip tied it to the factory wiring harness. I was going to add a circuit breaker at the battery but couldn't find one locally so I used a maxi-fuse instead. I may still do the breaker later but the fuse works for now. The Bikemaster true gel batteries (MG20L-BS) fit great, both are 20 AH where factory was 18AH so I got over double the juice now if needed plus no worries of leaking acid since the new batteries are gel cell batteries. I used some left over winch wiring to jumper the two batteries (notice the blue and yellow cables) with no isolator (may change that later). I plan on hooking my winch leads to the second battery when it gets here. I also ordered a new hold down bracket, bolt, and the cushion on the bracket then added a little cushion beneath both batteries for a tighter fit, i didn't like the wobbling around the stock battery did.. The battery in the storage compartment likes about a quarter inch sitting all the way down due tot he compartment getting smaller at the bottom but with a little cushion under it everything worked out great. I plan on making a cover for the batteries out of something but haven't figured that one out yet. | |

I like the mirrors bro, they may break off but if they do they are cheap to replace as long as its not to often.. Rick is a great guy, that's who I ask for every time I call... Actually talked to him earlier today, he is up north playing in the snow.. lol I got a few more pictures on my website. http://www.mudandgutsoffroad.org/emp-mirrors

| Installed the Pro Armor Pro Am seats, Pro Armor Harnesses, KFI stealth 4500lbs winch, and KFI 2" receiver today.. Also removed the sway bar and took a few measurements before and after to check the articulation difference.. As for the Lift I only gained about 1/2" of clearance, best I can tell I gained this due to the stress removed from the springs allowing them hold the body higher which should in turn make the springs last longer before they sag due to them being less stressed with the new setup.. This was achieved by moving the upper shock bolts up and out wards leaving the upper bolts further apart and closer to the outside of the bike which also made the shocks stand straighter. The Frame also appears to be a stronger with the new Racer Tech setup instead of the factory.. These seats are awesome, the feel is a lot more comfortable then stock. The stock seats are a little to narrow for me, plus these Pro Armor seats just look better.. The harnesses are a must and I had Pro Armors in my rhino so I went back to Pro Armors in the RZR because I know they are as comfortable as a harness can be and the are durable while looking good.. The winch was a pretty easy install with the biggest issue being the four winch bolts were difficult to get to and tighten.. I am really liking the blacked out winch.. I will try to get some better photo's of it later.. The 2" Receiver was a real easy install and quality is top notch unlike some I have seen.. Did I mention the QuadBoss 6 pack cooler? This is a pretty cool deal and I think I can get 3 20 ouncers in it.. After getting everything installed I decided to take a few measurements before and after removing the sway bar to find I gained over four inches articulation at the inside of the wheel with the sway bar gone.. | |
