What happens when half of it gets filled with mud? Could it be out of balance? Or what? It might work on a highway... or even gravel... not in mud.
That is not a new concept... It's been tried on highway vehicles...

Cool idea but seems like to me under hard cornering that the almost squareness of the tire would dig in like a plow. All depends on how "stiff" they are I guess.

I did a survey for polaris when i entered one of their RZR give aways a couple years ago and they asked if i would pay extra for an airless tire and how much, and they listed several prices. I thought the prices were ridiculous. If i remember correctly, i could have bought a track kit for about the same price. This must be what they had in mind.
