I was able to go out today and get a nice ride in. I met up with Bill B and his girlfriend about 2 pm for a ride around Royal Blue. It was my first time meeting Bill, so I would like to start off with a big thanks to him for showing us around. A co-worker and his family were unloading when we got there so they tagged along also. Bill was very knowledgeable of the trails and patient with the pace we were running because of the family that had joined us. The highlight for the ride was the sighting of a 200 lb. + black bear. My friend was leading at the time and I was second when I saw him stop in an odd spot in the trail. I saw him motion to his front and the bear popped out ran up the trail a bit, crossed over and up into the brush. I look forward to many more chances to ride with Bill and perhaps more of the members here as well.
