| Big Brown just showed up at my office with a box from Motoalliance. I needed a mount for my Viper Elite 4500 to go on the XP900 and I finally decided to get out of the dark ages and go with rope instead of wire. Going to try to mount it up tonight. | |

| No pictures but I installed a Tusk UHMW skid plate along with my old Top Dog tree kickers yesterday. I know most people use the FUTV plate and I had one on my S. But the Tusk was $50 cheaper and had free shipping so I figured I would take a chance. It's a two piece unit but there was a good overlapping seam, installation was very easy, clear color instructions, and very high quality hardware. Gotta say that overall I'm very pleased.
I also finished installing my GMRS radio this evening. Now I won't miss all the chatter anymore.

| The UPS man showed up again today with another box from Motoalliance. They had enlisted some beta testers for their new line of LED lights on the big forum. This is their new Sirius light in a 10" version and came with all wiring, switch, relay, amber tinted cover plate, and 1.5" mounts to go on my front bumper. My initial impression is that it looks to be a quality built unit and is pretty hefty. They have waterproof connectors and the unit itself is supposed to be waterproof. It very closely resembles the Rigid ones I've seen before but I don't have one beside me to compare it to. I'll get it mounted up tomorrow and see how well it works, supposedly this thing puts out about 5600 lumens which is slightly less than what I have seen advertised for the Totrons. My cost was right at $239 for everything which included shipping. | |

| Nathan - they look damn good. How tall did they measure when mounted? Are you running a lift kit? Crank down the springs? Looks like the front tires might scrub. | |

| Jason, with 10 psi they measured 28.25" rear and 28.75" front. No lift kit and the rear springs are starting to sag with zero preload. The fronts are definitely going to scrub, so I am going to get Sniper to order a set of the Highlifter arched forward a-arms for me. For right now I am going to crank down on the rear springs some but ultimately I want to get Smoothride to work his magic. Thanks for the compliment! We need to ride together again soon. | |

| I really like those tires. Still very undersized from the advertised size. They should call it a 28" tire not 30" | |

No kidding! I knew they were smaller than advertised size but could never find out just how much.

Thanks Les, it's coming together. I have a feeling you are going to be very happy with your shocks.
