Has anyone had any interest in flat track or TT racing? They had two classes for sxs at the TT national in Ashtabula, OH this past weekend.

I think Ridepate on here a short while back said he was looking into getting one started in GA. I wish I knew about the one in Ohio. I'm not to far from there and may have wanted to check that out. Rhino winners

Yup, TT is a perfect venue for sxs's. We're in the process of talking to a Kart-track owner, WAKA, it think, who runs only national events about three times a year. The track would be perfect for such an event. I'm hoping to get a call from the owner this week or next to meet with him on our plans. If we can't work it out with him, I might be able to lease some property, which I'm working on too.....

Vince,
The track owner of the WKA track, on I-85N up around Toccoa, was not intrested, I guess he makes enough on the few races he runs , he's missing out.
Not that We're trying to compete with Mike at D/T, but we want to run it on our own. I've ran a few TT races in my life, and know what it would take to make a friendly UTV track. Lots of run-off room, no trees, good smooth table-tops, good ole damp clay via water truck, lights, Saturday night, what would be more awesome??
My partner owns a grading company, so equipment will not be an issue.
I hope to have something worked-out by spring of next year, we looked at property Monday that might work, got some more to look at this Sunday. We want to do it right. We'll have a Saturday-Night- UTV-Thunder series for a championship at season-end. I may need some track-testers at some point, I want opinons from everybody, not just myself. Mount-up those 23's...........
Stay-Tuned.......
